First off, I had in interesting weekend so far. I caught a fairly nasty virus that landed me with a migraine, severe spine pain and airway constriction. When I finally got someone to drive me to the hospital, I registered a 9/10 on the pain scale, which warranted some pretty awesome IV painkillers. It's been two days, and I'm still lo00opy from whatever they gave me, plus I still feel like shit.

But, as a reborn optimist I spent this time to get onto Newegg and score myself a sweet new computer. It's got 2 gb ram, Amd 2.Ghz dual core, foxconn mobo, and a Geforce 8500 GPU. . With a case, HDD and Power supply it came out to $305.99.
Pretty kick ass if I may say so myself.
This is also the end to multi-day Apophysis renders which really put a damper on my relationship with that program.
OMG *cough cough* I'm so freakin' happy!

And once again these emoticons are insufficient, there should be one for "I just coughed out a piece of my lung, but I'm ecstatic!"

I know this is nothing, but if I celebrate nothing, then I'm in a very sad and lonely world aren't I?

I would throw in 3000 of those emoticons, but DA wont do more than about 400 on one page...

Also, I discovered the joys of author Cormic McCarthy. If you can only read one more book before you die, try reading The Road. One of the best books I have ever read. That's saying something since I read a lot.

I wish someone would make a good emoticon for "super-giddy", the general mood icons are really quite limited in their relevance to the Human condition.

I knows it's been a very long time since I have updated my deviations or my journal on this post. To tell you all the truth, my interest in fractals has wained a little bit. I created this account initially to be experimental in a way. That means that I would be taking a step out of my comfort zone as an artist and try new things. I've been looking into digital painting, 3d design, and a few other cool mediums on DA.
If you have any suggestions for the new direction I should take with this account, please post them up here.
